Focus to Fortune

Going on a trip to Vegas or some other gambling destination on our fabulous planet, you are going to have to take a few things in mind to keep yourself from exploding from the hype that surrounds a casino.

These distractions are why many people are choosing to do their gambling in one of the many online casinos. When playing in an Online Casino these distractions do not exist, so it makes it much easier to retain your concentration, unless you have a screaming child with you, but I have no tips for that.

Some people go to the casinos to have some fun and maybe make a little money, others have spent many years playing their games of choice and learning it well and go to test there skills against other players of the skills of the house dealer. These players need to be focused at all times or they can lose more then just their money
Keeping your focus on the on your game in the casino can be extremely difficult, but it is equally important that you do. If it sounds like I am blowing this out of proportion I assure you I am not. You need to come up with a solid game plan and stick to it. If you find that in the face of pressure you have a tendency to lose sight of your goals you will need to work on this.

There are many different levels of concentration. And when you are losing you will have a harder time keeping your full focus on the game, and not on your money. When the fact is at this point you really need to be more focused on the game. Keeping your full attention on the game at all times, if you are winning or losing is a skill you will need to perfect before you can ever make the real money.

And the same goes for the other side as well. If you begin gambling with a bank roll of 25,000 dollars again, and you are up to 100,000 dollars, having quadrupled your money it is a good idea to take 75,000 dollars of the money won, and return to your original 25,000 to even yourself out and put a bit of the money you have won away for safe keeping.

Your focus should be on the other player’s hands, their faces, how they are sitting in their chairs or anything that may give their hands away. You should not even notice the people walking around, the music from the bar or anything else that is not part of your table. To block everything else but your table out will not be easy to do and will take much time and practice before mastering it.

Most of the tips found in this article are common sense but you would be surprised how many people play with their head some place else but at the table they are playing on. If you know of any other tips that can be useful please submit them to my website and they will all be read.
