NO LIMIT HOLD'EM ONLINE POKER SIT N GO UNBEATABLE STRATEGY Part II
In Part I we talked about how to play an sng down to 6-7 players. Now I am going to teach you how to play when you get down to 4-5 players left in the game. When there is 4-5 players left in a sng your strategy should now start to change a little. You should begin to play a larger variety of hands, but you should be trying to limit your opponents preflop to one or two. Limiting your opponents should not be that hard since you have created a tight image up to this point. Another very important thing you need to do at this point of the game is steal blinds. By now you should be around 20 to 30 minutes into the game and the blinds are probably starting to become quit large (Now, if there is some big hand right in the beginning of the game and you are down to five players in five minutes, than obviously do not put to much effort into stealing the blinds because they are not worth much yet). You will be surprised how easy it is to steal blinds at this point because of your tight play in the beginning of the game, and more importantly, the fact that in most 9 or 10 player games the top 3 make money. All the other players are gonna start tightening up and only playing top hands because they are afraid of being knocked out when they are so close to being in the money, you should take advantage of this and steal there blinds. 3 PLAYERS LEFT Congratulations, your in the money. But now you need to focus on the big prize, first place. This is where you may need some true poker skills to win first. I have a theory that the less players in a poker game the more a poker players talent is worth. There are many different ways that you should play in this stage of the game based on your chip stack and your opponents chip stacks. Play however you are most comfortable playing at this point, but your main goal should be to get down to heads up with at least half of your opponents chips (this way if you double up, you will be the chip leader). HEADS UP Since you should have been playing with your opponent for about 30 to 45 minutes, you should have some type of an idea which one of you is the better poker player. If you feel that he is a much better poker player than you, I advise you to wait until you get a decent hand, it does not have to be great. Just a hand that probably give you a 51 percent or better odds of winning the hand. You should take this hand and go all in. The reason you should do this is because if your opponent is better than you in a heads up situation, you have much worse odds than 51 percent of winning the game (your odds are probably around 20 percent). Now, if you feel that you are the better player, you should do the exact opposite. You should try and defeat your opponent slowly. You should try and wear him down hand by hand. Eventually he will probably go all in with a bad hand out of desperation and you will take him down. You just have to remember not to become to tempted if he goes all in right off the bat. For example, your dealt pocket sevens and your opponent goes all in before the flop. Although you probably have the best hand, your hand probably isn't that much better and you probably have odds around 55 you, 45 him. If you fold and play your game you will beat him 80 percent of the time. So there you have it, a simple but very effective online sit and go poker strategy.
