Poker Performer Challenge

The Poker Performer Challenge (chronicled at poker challenge ) is an amateur poker player's version of Chris "Jesus" Ferguson's $10 000 challenge.

The premise of the challenge is to build a $100 bankroll from scratch. This means that those taking part must begin by playing Freerolls and attempt to advance to the cash tables from there.

It took Chris Ferguson over six months to reach his target, so anyone taking up the challenge has to be prepared for a long term effort. Chris also admitted he suffered many setbacks, especially while he was attempting to move up from the lower cash limits.

As a poker player myself I think the Poker Performer Challenge is a very intriguing concept. It would also be an interesting project to tackle.
